The Meadow Long Jacket from The Make Shed’s Handmade collection.

The Meadow Long Jacket has an answer for every autumnal colour conbination. The waffle weave is woven from grey, dark blue, brown, aubergine, grey brown, green and black colour yarns. Crafted from the soft linen and cotton. The knee length jacket is loose fitting with a soft oversized collar, large pockets that extend partly around the back, handy decorative breast pockets, front flap conceals the zipper front. straight sleeves and fully lined with chocolate brown needlecord.

Made from European soft and fluffy, shrink resistant thanks to our special washing method. Medium weight.

Care

We recommend a separate cold hand wash or dry clean. Shake out and dry flat. Dark colours may bleed initially so wash separately.

Into The Wild

Into The Wild is our Autumn collection for 2024 with soft hues of rhubarb, chocolate, putty and indigo. Billowing drapey linen fabric, soft sculptured shapes, teamed with super chunky knits setting the theme. Taking our inspiration from the sense of escape and ‘getting away from it all’. We care about how we create our clothing, using natural products such as wools and linens that have provenance. Creating designs that are timeless, garments that let you add to your existing wardrobe. We design and craft the garments in our studio/shed, producing clothing in small batches to reduce waste. This in turn means you buy less, but buy better. You collect a range of clothing that lasts longer and brings more enjoyment.
